Empty flightsuit was on press passes! MTP talked about
the toy and Doris kearns went as far as to compare it with the teddy bear! ("Not the first time a president inspires a toy!)
She did mention the mishun unaccomplished, but Nofacts said: it was too accomplished!

6. This confounds me, too, Jacobin.
"The worse he does the better they like him." I just don't get it, and I guess I never will. That's why I don't have such a sunny view of human nature, and why I do think the type of leaders we have is of paramount importance. The mass of people simply cannot think straight enough most of the time to make decent decisions. The only time they rise up is when conditions become so bad for them personally that the little light bulb goes on above their heads. Wish I could change this about the human race.

8. Saw that too.
This is the most amazing spin machine I've ever seen. Bush's performance Thursday night was not timely (although the talking heads said it was), he was marginally coherent (and they gave his message high marks) he has twice defeated attempts to address the problem and yet lied that he's been trying to address it all along.

This is the same group that had truth squads out after each of the debates, spinning that dubya won the debates.

We need some truth squads whispering in the ears of the talking heads!

Edited?

ON MY OWN EDIT- What's next Pay-per-view? Only those who can afford it (and fill Repube coffers further) need to be informed........er.....misinformed.

12. LOL
Although I would't be surprised if the Repubs didn't discover pay-er-view as a fund raising event!

9. Brian Williams sucked today!!
Even blimp head Russert would have grilled the Sec. of Energy a little - just to make it look like he actually was doing his job. Williams let Abraham spin the administration crap about their energy plans getting held up in Congress without so much as a peep.
Did anyone notice the begrudging credit Willaims gave to the Democrats - something to the effect of "well to give the Democrats credit, they have been talking about this for two years..." It seemed like he just hated having to mention that little tidbit.

Imagine if this had happened on Clinton's watch and Secretary Richardson had been in the hot seat on MTP. He would have been beaten to a bloody pulp!

5. Maybe he was referring to the fundraising effort ...
...that was so rudely interrupted by a National Emergency ... instead of *'s 'Presidential Response' to it ... :eyes:

I swear, the mainstream whores won't call him on ANYTHING !!

4. They should have dolls in coffins...

representing each and every military person murdered
in Iraq to accompany the bushboy "pretend I am a pilot"
doll. Then they should have dolls representing all the
wounded with missing limbs and some in hospital beds
also. When you see all the dead and wounded dolls
surrounding the bush dollbaby he won't look so
damned good anymore.

7. Well...
...I sent an e-mail to both KBToys who will be selling the doll, and
to Blue Box, the company that is making this abberation.

I suggested that they come out with a flag draped coffin, with a soldier in dress uniform in it, and a sign that says "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED".

13. I'll buy one if I see it.
It will be a collector's item someday. Then I'll take all of the rest of my toy shopping elsewhere for a few years.
