Fuck it. I'm voting for Nader. |

Maybe it's time for the Democratic party to just finally merge with the Republican party and end the confusion. I'm voting for Nader.
For all the rest, vote Skull and Bones in 2004.
You have no choice.

Not even a well-constructed one, either. It's a damn shame... people don't but the time and craftsmanship into their bullshit arguments that they used to.

47. look, in countries with REAL democratic govt's, there is a process of ... |
|
...COMPROMISE, and RECONCILIATION, where different factions of the Left (e.g., the center left and the far left) will form a combined ticket, or will adopt planks of the other faction(s)'s platform.
They do this in order to WIN. But the Democratic party refuses to do this. And they have paid the price, and they likely will continue to do so. They do this EVEN THROUGH the "true" Left favors reforms that have found favor with Americans in general, such as universal healthcare. Gee, I wonder why they will not accomodate the Left? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Demcratic Party appratus has more in common with the GOP party apparatus than with the Democratic voters in general.

otherwise, I vote for Nader.
I am not saying there is NO difference btw Kerry and Bushco, just that that there is not much difference, when you consider what Nader would do.
And the main thing that Nader would do is educate and sell and push the left agenda. He would be constrained by all the Repubs AND Dems in Congress/Senate, so he could not implement all that much. But Nader would USE that 4 years to SELL and propagandize. Kerry won't.

You really want to see a 3rd party candidate in the debate? Start working on Nov 3rd after Kerry becomes President to help work towards that goal, but don't use the Presidential Election to try and do that little science experiment....We did that in 2000 and look what it got us!

Kerry knows how to work the system. We are gonna need the best politician serving us in order to climb out of the hole we currently find ourselves in.
Kerry won't have to wonder who is who... he knows who's good and who's bad. We will have the attention of Kerry as he works toward setting America back on track. He will need us to help beat back the neo-con onslaught.
Voting for anybody but Kerry on Nov. 2nd, is as good as a vote for the pnac *.

42. Yeah, fascism isn't so bad. Maybe we'll get to wear those spiffy uniforms |
|
like they had in Germany in the early 40's after we all get drafted for the PNAC war effort. I'm thinking about maybe starting my own state-church youth group, maybe we can learn to build internment camps for the new lowered minimum wage. And I don't really mind if I'm not allowed to read and say anything I want, the government always knows what is best for me. And if I'm homeless, I won't ever have to worry about paying bills. And if my children must live in a dark world of despair and hopelessness, hey, at least they won't have any illusions.:)
Yes, the future looks rosy for America under Bu$h fascism.

Whereas Nader, a former gameshow host, is a regular laugh riot. His electrifying personality make him the voters' top choice for a presidential barbecue guest, the most important criterion for the election. Moreover, the zany independent has been known to comb his hair, sometimes twice in one week!

|
By voting for Nader, you're insuring that the issues you CLAIM to care about have less of a chance of coming out the way you'd like them to.
Emphasis on CLAIM. After all, if you truly were concerned with said issues, you would do what it took to grant the greatest possibility of those issues coming out the way you'd like them too, even if it meant voting for someone who didn't "believe in."
This is, of course, ignoring that Kerry is one of the most liberal members of the Senate, which apparently makes him identical to Bush.

Vote for the man that WILL beat W- John Kerry. You are no different for someone that votes for W as your actions will allow W to continue to drive America to the ground. Kiss the enviroment goodbye.

If Bush proposes a draft it will be strongly opposed by Democrats in Congress and probably fail as a result.
If John "stay the course" Kerry proposes a draft it might get support from some Democrats and actually pass Congress.
So, which candidate is more likely to get us a draft? I'm not so sure.

but this year the mission is clear. Bush needs to go. On top of everything thats going on currently, there are a few Supreme Court judges getting pretty old. We could have a few appointments in the next few years and if Bush is in office the repercussions could be dire for years to come.

"...merge with the Republican party and end the confusion."
Please try not to project your confusion on the rest of us. If you're so confused, don't you think you should just stay home on election day. I mean, you can go to work or to school (don't want to get you in any trouble) but the confused should stay away from the polls.

Don't invest any money in it... we'll just go with what seems simple!
Great idea, though... Solar cars, for example, do so well.

...if you vote Nader in 2004, you probably won't even get the choice to vote in 2008.
But hey, who knows? Living in an evil empire might be fun! We can pretend like we're in Star Wars! Oh boy oh boy! I get to be Chewie!

83. There is ONE good reason to vote for Kerry |
|
We live to fight another day!. A hundred times in the last 6 months I have said I was voting for Kucinich (write in), But with Bushit it is ALL OVER. At least with Jk we save SCOTUS and work for a better tomorrow. Do you REALLY want to spend the rest of your life in a fascist nation?
BTW I have some great article on PEAK OIL...write me if your interested.BUSHIT or KERRY are not our problem....PEAK OIL IS!
Arabia probably financed Pakistan nuke program. They have attempted to assassinate Musharraf twice. If they succeed Pakistan falls into the hands of the MUJ and we are in deep sh*T. When King Fahd dies(shortly) we could easily have a civil war in Arabia......There goes 25% of the world's oil
The world is in deep trouble and I don't want Bushit & CO in the WH.......Do you?
