Since Hussein is being charged for crimes from the '80's...
shouldn't GHW BUSH (and half the current administration) be charged as co-conspirators?

1. They certainly need to be called as witnesses
I'm sure some new charges could emerge after that - for those who were'nt already give some kind of blanket pardon by 41.

3. Why do you think none of this will be on TV?
I'll bet he never reaches the court room for the sham trial!

4. Then Rumsfeld and the Iran-Contra bunch need to be charged as well
for their roles and dealings with Iraq and Iran.

8. You can expose the dead for the criminals they were
But as Reagan was not the only one guilty of Iran-Contra, the point is still valid that all should be tried.

I have no problems telling the truth about the dead. Though it should have been told while they were living so justice could have been exacted. I don't hold to nonsensical notions of respect for evil once it's dead, so dragging Reagans name through the mire of his own creation bothers me not at all.

I'd like to see them all brought to justice for their crimes...even Casey, another dead member of Iran-Contra. I want to see Bush brought to justice. Though I have little faith in Americas thirst for actual justice and knowing just what freedom entails. Sometimes, you have to jail a criminal President as a warning to other would be tyrants. Otherwise, we risk more tyrants....

7. If they charged the Reagan people
they'd have to charge the leadership of the USSR/Russia, France, and China too.

Saddam had a lot of powerful friends. I'm sure it had nothing to do with oil, though.
