22. are activists leafletting these theaters?
We need to be out at the theaters with information to hook people up with concrete action--and I don't just mean voting. Kerry looks like he will actually escalate the war and may even expand it to N. Korea and Iran, according to his quotes. We need an independent movement out there that doesn't view politcs as a spectator sport--where you go and pull a lever for some joker every couple years.

Are people going to the theaters w/ leaflets and ways for people to get involved in stuff? What are y'all seeing/doing at the theaters where this movie's playing?

And speaking of info to hook up with action, check out www.notinourname.net/rnc

2. Theaters are businesses...
the movie is making money, so the theaters will supply it.

They've seen the light!
Oceanside, CA is now showing it in two movie theaters! Not bad for a military town. Although, to be fair the nearest theater to me is in another town and they have been showing it since it opened.

8. Wisconsin
When we called our local theater for the day they would be showing the movie they said, "We don't show that kind of movie." Well a lot of us called and guess what it will be shown here this weekend.

11. which kind of movie?
"that kind of movie" heh, heh

When "that kind of movie" became the kind of movie that makes pantloads of cash, they were sure ready to show that kind of movie.

9. Still can't see it where I live either----
although it's a heck of a lot closer now to me than it was. The number of theaters showing F911 in SC has quadrupled. The thing that boggles my mind is that it's showing in smaller cities than the one that I live in!

26. man--I'd love to hear how people react
I'd love to hear how people react to this movie in small SC towns. The rural south has been sacrificing many young poor people to this criminal war--and though we've got a history in the south of being conservative, eventually reality comes staring you in the face and you can't ignore it anymore. Can you update us on the reaction the movie is getting there?

23. Perhaps the most appropriate punishment for her
would be to lock her up in a small cell for years with a TV that plays nothing but F-9/11 24 hours a day (and no way for her to turn it off).

12. What About Morgantown
Arguably the most liberal city in the state, one with a 50,000 population (including students of WVU) and half a dozen movie theaters, but no F-9/11. Go Figgure.

But it is playing in Fairmont, about a 10-15 minute drive. No biggie, the WVU kids will still see it.

I'm waiting to see how it does in Parkersburg.

15. It's now playing at 2 theaters in my neighborhood.
Before it was only playing at theaters in Atlanta. I don't like driving into Atlanta, so I resigned myself to watching it on DVD. But it is playing in Kennesaw and Woodstock, which is my neck of the woods.

16. I'm enjoying knowing that everyone of these theaters
lost out on the big sales on opening weekend. I'm glad they joined the bandwagon but I'm happy those theaters who showed it first will make the most money. Thank you 800+ courageous theater owners. Thank you Weinstein bros. Thank you Michael Moore and thanks Eisner for creating the controversy that got this movie the attention it needed.

It's not showing up on Yahoo, but call the Normal Theatre at (309) 454-9722, they're showing it tonight at 7, 9:30, and 11:45. Only five bucks!

I'll probably be there with my girlfriend. If anyone else is going, let me know :)

19. About time...
... F911 came full force to Appalachia, which the rich and powerful of America simply see as the place they outsource the cannon fodder for their oil wars. I wonder if Sen Byrd has seen the movie yet?

21. sold out every show
In my town it's showing in one theatre where it has sold out every show since opening on Friday. They moved it to the 300-seat room and it still sold out.

What a great thing this movie is doing in exposing this criminal war.
