Question for DUers who visit Drudge Report and watch Fox News regularly
How do you do it?

I don't have the stomach for either one.

Drudge is such a brazen liar that I refuse to visit his website, and Fox News is so unapologetically biased in their coverage, if I watch for more than 30 seconds, I usually want to throw something at the TV.

1. A follow up question.
Do you take blood pressure medication? I imagine I'd have to.

2. Hmmmmmmm.......

Well the only reason I go to the Sludge website is to get the cable news ratings when he puts them out. He seems to be the only one who will publish them. I have a news ratings page on my website, I update it when I can get the new ratings from Sludge.

I never watch any FOX news shows, except for the O'Dummy factor. And I only watch it because I have the website on him.

It does not raise my blood pressure either, I see it as comedy, it's pretty much like watching a skit from SNL or MADTV.

3. Know your foes
In order to beat an enemy, you must know what they are thinking. I keep myself weel versed in freeper doctrine by reading Drudge and listening to H&C on fauxnews. While my listening may help them in terms of exposure, I don't care. I feel it is worth it to understand what I am fighting against.

For example. Today Drudge posted the Boston's Mayor Menino's comments from a Boston Herald article. I will probably need to deal with some comment about Menino's statement later today from my freeper associates. I don;t have time to search for right wing articles, so I let Drudge do it and I use him to read the articles for myself.

Teh worst thing a Democrat can do it assume that the right is always incorrect. Read the articl they are using as "evidence." Determine for yourself its probitive value and you make a better advocate for your own beliefs.
