I hope Moore responds to everything this man writes in his book. On CNN just now, Hardy did not refute anything that Moore had in FH-911 although he just said Micahel Moore's facts were wrong without even saying how they were wrong...he just recited other facts. (1) For example, he claims that the Bush administration did not approve the flight of the Saudis out of the country after 9/11 but it was Richard Clarke. Last time i looked, Richard Clarke was part of the Bush administration when that happened. (2) Mentioned that the UNICOL pipeline was actually started under Clinton. Well, I believe that it all began under papa Bush BUT nothing in FH-911 said this didn't happen under the Clinton administration. As I recall, the film merely pointed out that the pipeline was a big deal for Karzai and that he was a former member of the UNACAL board...which he was. If you listen carefully to those trying to refute FH-911 you will hear that they are trying to mislead people by making charges against Moore for things he did not do. Just pay careful attention and you will see what I mean.

1. This 2002 article excellent for refuting Hardy
"Unocal had been negotiating with the Taliban since 1995 to build pipelines through Afghanistan...Unocal pulled out of the deal after the 1998 terrorist attacks on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were linked to terrorists based in Afghanistan...

Ahmed Rashid’s authoritative book “Taliban, Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia” carefully documents how the U.S. and Pakistan helped install the Taliban in hopes of bringing stability to the war- ravaged region and making it safer for the pipeline project." As for the statement that "Bush administration did not approve the flight of the Saudis out of the country" is abundently refuted by Paul Thompson see his 911 Timeline - Sept 13th entry.
