2. Not all drugs have gotten more expensive |

There's been some primo heroin going around since 2002 that's dirt cheap. I've also seen hash oil in circulation for the first time since the 1980's at very affordable prices.

6. Since my generic Tylenol #3 has risen 50% in the past 3 years |

I may have to check out the peoples' pharmacy with a view toward switching to black tar instead.
I tried heroin in the 60s and I hated the stuff. Of course, I wasn't a chronic pain basket case back then.
The only drug that hasn't risen to a ridiculous high has been the one that went OTC. The rest have jumped in price, and I've stopped taking all but the generics.

It's now at record cheap levels! Buy Herion, for $60 you'll get a month worth of fixes, so who needs prescription drugs when you can get the good stuff so cheap!
New Bush ad:
"Stop wasting your money on trying to live forever with prescription durgs, and have a good three months raging on before ODing. Welcome to BushAmerika..... "

PLENTY of Democrats aid and abet the pharmaceutical industry.
Clinton was one of the WORST culprits- under his administration, the FDA gave the drug companies the "right" to advertise on television- which was absolutely stupid (corrupt?) policy- and unlike Bush & Co., Clinton was smart enough to know the consequences- namely, that we all have to pay MUCH higher prices to support the ad campaigns. Moreover, because the drug companies are now a HUGE source of revenue for the networks- they have a major disincentive to do any sort of investigative reporting about industry abuses.
