1. My dad went to yesterday's 4:15 show |
|
which had been completely pre-sold except for 60 tickets. By 1/2 hour before show-time, those 60 tickets had sold out.
On his way out, he heard that the 7:00 show was sold out, as well.
That's on a Tuesday night! Not too shabby!!! :D It's great that not only is it selling out, but people are making a point of buying their tickets ahead of time.

Do you think the $ will keep going up with the attention/extra theaters or will it die off as the initial interest wears off??

11. I had heard he was considering delaying the release of the |
|

12. It will take in over $200 million after it is released |
|
worldwide. Tomorrow it is opening in a theatre near my house (Pinellas County FL) This theatre is in a good location and I believe thousands will see it. The other place where it is available is located is in the northern part of my county and is really out of the way.

17. Eventually the interest in the US will slowly fade, but I think |
|
F911 can still expect a serious boost from its foreign releases.

13. I don't think it will do $200million |
|
But I think $100 million by the beginning of August will happen.

8. Still brings a chuckle to remember |
|
the Freeper board poster who said the film was bombing because it only did $8 million the first day... Which is about the same level of awareness they use to judge Bush's economic figures, come to think of it.

16. I think this movie will keep doing well because Iraq and |
|
the war on terror are evolving stories. Current events will spur continued interest in this movie. In Britian and other countries they won't have republicans trying to prevent people from viewing the film.
I like how they say this movie will spur terrorism - as if Bush's torcher policy won't do that 100 fold.
