ya know something, I am genuinely happy with Kerry as our nominee |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-30-04 05:34 PM by JohnKleeb
Its a shame I can't vote but he was my second choice, and Ive always despite some of my disagreements with the man liked him. He's a good guy. I really appreciate what he's done for the country from his days tesitifying against the Vietnam war to Senator Fulbright to his days running for president now, he has a simliar record to my hero Senator Edward M Kennedy, he's a man who I think could possibly be the greatest president in my life time. I am not supporting Kerry reluctantly, I am supporting Kerry because I think he'll make a great president, he's far from perfect on the issues, but who truly is, I'd love to a Massachuetts liberal president. I am glad he's our nominee, sure I'd prefered Kucinich I admit but I truly think of the quote and I hate using this term electable candiates, he's the best we could get. Thanks, just felt like saying that. BTW there are plenty in the senate and house who are more Bushlite than Kerry will ever be, he's not perfect but he's one of us and I'll be honored to have him as president.

Really, people are like oh I am only reluctantly voting for Kerry, you know if he's bushlite, how come he got a 102 from the UAW last year? really now, bushlites dont get good grades from the UAW. He also voted against confirming Singing Ashcroft and Polluting Norton.

3. Kerry is the absolute best candidate possible |
|
Besides being the most electable, he is very liberal, not a Bush lite as some claim. You never know how really liberal someone is until they are elected. LBJ said nothing is more useless than a defeated liberal politician.

He's doing the Kennedy route, moderate image, liberal agenda, LBJ did the same thing.

6. Senator Kennedy said their votes meant the same in a NYT article |

I don't have the link because it was winter but many anti IWR people endorsed Kerry.

8. Ron Paul voted against IWR! |

He also voted against NAFTA and the USA PATRIOT Act! Let's nominate him! Sure, he's a libertarian, but that doesn't matter, because he didn't vote for IWR.

These forums are so discouraging; most people here seem to be holding their nose for Kerry, when there's plenty to actually be excited about.

Your first and second were the same as mine.
I feel great about supporting John Kerry. I'm going to be working on his campaign in my swing state.
