WOW! New Documentary "Outfoxed"

Uncovered director Robert Greenwald -- working with a group of Fox-monitoring MoveOn members -- has put together a documentary film that exposes Fox for what it is: partisan spin, not news.

MoveOn.Org is using this movie to launch an organizing campaign with Common Cause and other great groups to "out" Fox News -- making sure everyone in the country knows the network is stumping for the Republican agenda.

Outfoxed features interviews with seven ex-Fox News employees who describe how, every day, highly partisan talking points are drawn up to influence newscasts.

I believe it is released in Canada.

Why does it worry you? The media needs to be exposed for the big players that they are.

22. It might be overkill. Have an opposite effect than intended, because

there will be so many of 'em. Moore's film has so much impact because it's the first of its kind (as far as I know), and there's only one of 'em (not to be followed by 5 more, because there is only one Prez).

I think it would flood the market and country with negativity on just about everything, diluting the negativity on * by Moore's film.

Just a thought.

though it probably won't see much mainstream succcess unless it entertains as much as it informs.

That's the key that bestows Moore's works with such unusual appeal among mainstream audiences. I'm sure it will be a very worthwhile project nonetheless.
