Did F9/11 come out too early to affect the election?
It was great. It was an experience. BUT...did it come out a little too early to have an effect on the election, do you think?

2. Nope
Once someone doesn't trust someone like Bushler, they keep not trusting him. Kerry can use lines in the debates like: "are you telling the truth this time?"

12. Excellent!
"Are you telling the truth this time"

Hope Kerry uses it again and again.

3. Nah, F911 has staying power.
but if F911 is as popular as it appears to be, it could still be playing in theatres when the conventions roll around...

And then out to DVD in September. F911 is going to be around and part of the national debate for the summer.

So no, it didn't come out too early.

4. Its timing is perfect
It is motivating people to get out the vote and to convince their friends and family to vote ABB. And there is four months in which to get that done.

6. No, I don't think so. DVD in September..
I know several people that will watch it if I loan them the DVD who would NOT go to a theatre.

7. imho no
7/4 is one of the largest film markets of the year.
Gives it time to be released on DVD in Sept.
It will have entered the public lexicon by then.

It took a while for disco to get to Peoria.

it's good it came out now before the campaign really ramps up.

10. I think the timing is perfect
Came out at just the right time.

This has been a total Democratic onslaught the past few weeks. First was Bill Clinton's book. Then this movie, at the same time as the (so-called) handover in Iraq. Then Kerry chooses his VP within a few weeks. Then the Convention.

And the DVD should be out in September or so. Many people will see it then.

It's good to get an early start, especially when Bush's main opponent is relatively unknown. People may be curious about him.

The timing couldn't have been better.

13. I agree. . . .
It's perfect timing.

People will see it in theaters.

They will stew over it for a couple of months.

It'll come out on DVD with some good marketing attached, which will draw attention back to it.

People that didn't see it the first time and people that want to see if they missed anything the first time they saw it will buy or rent it.

Moore has already stated he doesn't object to file-sharing of it, and it will circulate far and wide over the internet in DVD quality.

The timing is perfect.

Better to get it in theaters now and in wide circulation to home viewers in Sept.

But, the movie is a cultural phenom, and should be around to bug Bush for a long long time.

17. I'm in the "perfect timing" camp myself
Aside from the anger and shock that will propel people to take action in the coming election efforts, there is also the added bonus that everything Bush and his cronies say in the next few months will be examined with a new air of skepticism and suspicision.

18. Kind of hard to stop this tsunami NOW!
LOL! Thought it would NEVER get here! :toast:

What we are seeing with our own dazzled eyes is a massive sea-change in people's awareness of what the Bush Administration is doing to our country and it will only continue to build. People are reacting with absolute FURY at the betrayal of the U. S. military, their families, our citizens, our seniors, our children, our economic survival, our environment, our scientific research, our civil rights and our Constitutional foundation America was built upon.

There is no other conclusion to be drawn. Bush has committed the most egregious acts of treason against the United States of America.

And we must take him and his vile accomplices to task. Because if we allow him to remain in power, then the rest of the world will see all of US as giving Bush our tacit approval to keep up his corrupt, greed-driven and depraved assault on the world.

No. Moore's documentaries "catch" on fire,...as time passes.
I believe F-9/11 will GROW. There may be a slump for several weeks,...but, it will "catch" on fire via word of mouth. That is what I believe.

20. No. Slow seepage into the national conciousness takes time....
Most of the people who have seen F911 already were anti-Bush going
into the theater.

As more and more people see it and talk to the people they know, it will
begin to reach those not already convinced.
