My response to a couple of Republican talking points
Q. Who would you feel can take over the presidency should the need arise, Edwards or Cheney?

A. The reason why Kerry is so strong in the polls right now, is that Cheney sucks as a President already.

Q. Don't you feel Cheney has more experience than Edwards.

A. Experience only is good if your actions and advice, over time, are correct. Or, if you are incorrect, that you admit your mistakes, that you learn from those mistakes, don't repeat them, and correct them. Cheney has demonstrated no ability to do any of the actions I have mentioned. Therefore, fresh, new ideas to failed policies makes far more sense to me.

1. The people's lawyer or the corporate crook?
I'll stick with the people's lawyer.

2. Edwards has about as much experience
in government as Bush did when he was selected President. If it was good enough for Pres then it's certainly good enough for VP.

Besides, Edwards was SUCCESSFUL in his private sector career. Bush had to be bailed out by the Saudis.

5. Cheney has experience..
at setting up policies that he can take advantage of when he gets kicked or voted out of office and goes back to his seat on the board of Halliburton
