Joe said that he was also a trial lawyer himself and Edwards will not be eaten up during the debate with Cheney. He said that trial lawyers are used to sitting in a room questioning CEOs for days until they get the information they need.

A number of conservative leaning papers and web sitesalso stated that Edwards would be a good choice for Kerry. The Washington Times, and NewsMax and a few other choices had a number of articles suggesting that Kerry select Edwards. Whetther it is true or not, Republicans have indicated, as Cheney did with Dean, that Edwards would bve the easiest running mate for them to marginalize.

I heard David Brooks say at a c-span event that Edwards was his favorite for vp because Edwards is a fundamentally decent person.

26. This is not new for Joe.

He fawned all over Edwards during the primaries. I remember one results show with him, Tweety, Fineman, and Dee Dee Myers... they were all practically gushing over him. I didn't hear Joe say one negative thing about Edwards.

I hate Joe with a passion but I do believe that he may actually just like Edwards. :shrug:
