They are really good together, I feel really good about them as a team. Bright, sincere, intelligent and good looking too. They are the anti Bush*.

2. it gives a sense of "hope for a better future" in it

it gives the comfort of knowing kerry has the experience and military service to understand the problems of today while emphasizing domestic issues by showing edwards as son of a millworker and fighter for ordinary americans. so there is a hope for a better future in it, while at the same time assuring americans that the ticket includes experience to take on the problems of national security.
