I am working for Edwards, not Kerry |
|
In this case, I am one of those who is working for the VP and not the P. I was none too thrilled with Kerry, and thought that except for my vote, I might sit this one out. But I'm very excited about Edwards. I'm hoping he will get the exposure and experience necessary to be the next President after this. (And no, I'm no big Hillary fan. I like her, but I'm not going to worry about her future.)

2. I don't think your strategy makes sense |
|
If you're working for Edwards than essentially you are helping and working for Kerry but I'll let you think whatever you want in that mind of yours.

5. gee, guess we should be so lucky |

to have your support considering you don't like Kerry or Hillary--two very respected senators :eyes:
Post like these are counter-productive. In a perfect world it works 100% YOUR way, but in case you haven't been looking lately, it's not a perfect world.

I consider my vote important. That's why I'm excited to give it in support of Edwards rather than simply against Bush.

you were going to 'sit this one out'? Makes sense, since Kerry and Bush are virtually the same person, right? Just like Gore and Bush are.

9. Right. Go ahead and sit this one out when we need every vote... |
|
...we can get to expunge the NeoCons from the centers of U. S. power.
Think of it this way...if we don't get rid of them in November, Edwards may never get a chance to be the president in the future. In fact, the title of president of the U. S. may just be eliminated for something more catchy like "dictator".
Think about it.

I'll gladly work for BOTH Kerry and Edwards. Neither one was my first choice (I'm a Clarkie). But, I'm really excited about this ticket. Kerry has amazed me at how smart he's been running his campaign ever since the primaries.

13. Which of the two will be more popular by November? |
|
I'm thinking Edwards. By the end of this election people may be wishing it was Edwards/Kerry instead. I think a big reason Kerry won is that his boring stability looked like a good alternative to the erratic Dean. Without that contrast Kerry just looks unispiring and dull compared to Edwards.
