Report Finished on Afghanistan Prisoners

Wed Jul 7, 4:55 AM ET

KABUL, Afghanistan - An American general has submitted his report on a network of jails at U.S. bases in Afghanistan (news - web sites) where four detainees have died, but only part of his findings will be made public, the military said Wednesday.

Barno ordered the snap review in May, as the scandal over mistreatment of prisoners in Iraq (news - web sites) prompted fresh scrutiny of growing complaints in Afghanistan.

The U.S. military said on Saturday that it has opened a fresh investigation into alleged detainee abuse, bringing to at least five the number of probes ongoing.

why are we covering up more "abuse"....why do we have to dig to see the crimes against humanity ?

The "fish rots from the head down"...as John Edwards says.

1. Because Imperial Amerika is not a Free Nation anymore
Though for the moment our daily lives still sort of appear to be so.

This will change once unchecked, unchalleneged power is finally and fully seized by the Imperial Family.

THEN we will begin to REALLY feel the effects of the choices we have made to Appease Tyranny.

Why did Hitler cover up abuses? Stalin? Bushevik Ferdinand Marcos?

One has to understand the Totalitarian Persona to understand thesed things.

4. Cowed. Afraid. Silenced. Even when they speak we are not allowed to
hear.

AS I always say, we are reliving a very old story.

Look to history for answers to the whys of the present.
