Another Lawyer question thought |
I live in a somewhat wealthy southeastern PA county that is totally republican controlled. I work in the county seat and all the law firms and most of the lawyers are republican. In Philadelphia most of the old time big firms are republican. The lawyers all over this country are the country club power brokers. So, what is this "But Edwards is a lawyer" slam? Are trial lawyers a distinct breed to be singled out? Attorneys that never see the inside of a courtroom can sleaze with the best.

1. Attorneys who don't go to the court room are usually the sleaziest |
In the court room, a trial lawyer must present the case to the people, a jury of peers. That is democracy at its best. Republicans hate the American judicial system because it is democratic at its core and Republicans hate the American democracy.

2. Insurance defense firms are the guys you are talking about |
Personal injury plaintiff attorneys are not republican unless they are very stupid and would like to help their enemies end their careers.
