Edwards Has Made Kerry A Better Campaigner!!!
I thought that John Kerry was stiff and lacked the common touch but he was vibrant today...

John Edwards has woken up a sleeping giant and the midgets in the White House will soon feel his wrath....

1. Kerry has ups and downs. Edwards, though
has a way of describing Kerry that makes Kerry seem quite appealing. I watched him at the Texas Democratic Convention in June, and that's when I became convinced that Edwards should get the VP slot. He spoke of Kerry as a caring, compassionate man driven to make the lives of the poorest better. He portrayed Kerry, without describing him in specific terms, as a man who has trouble relating to people, but as a man with compassion and insight, nonetheless. He made Kerry sound like Lincoln.

This will wear off on Kerry, will unleash his enthusiasm and his confidence in his social skills. Edwards's biggest contribution will be what he does to Kerry.

6. I agree with you
Far from overshadowing Kerry, Edwards' charisma and common touch will bolster Kerry's ability to do the same.

2. Kerry has always been a great campaigner
it was shown in iowa. the only thing is the he changes how intense he is in campaigning depending on the time. he knows when the people are paying attention the most and to get out there. i saw most of his events and he is incredible. he has a different style from some, but still appealing.

5. he was this way often
he may appear aloof when discussing serious issues and giving serious policy speeches. but in campaign rally type events he is the way he is today. this helped him win iowa.

4. A big plus: they can look great TOGETHER (unlike Bush w Cheney)
and do equally well individually. They can't have Bush and Cheney campaign together much, because Bush looks so very small in comparison. The very grumpy Cheney on his own is certainly not much of a help, either! HEE, HEE, HEE!
