PHILADELPHIA, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The award-winning public affairs
radio show NPR's Justice Talking will host a debate between former Governor
and Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean and independent presidential
candidate Ralph Nader on the role of third parties in national elections.
NPR's Margot Adler will host the debate before a live studio audience on
Friday, July 9, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the National Press Club in Washington,
DC. The invitation-only event is open to press who RSVP, and NPR will carry
it live on-air and on-line.
"NPR's Justice Talking is thrilled to be the host of this unique debate,"
said Kathryn Kolbert, executive producer of Justice Talking and Senior
Researcher at the Annenberg Public Policy Center. "In an era of media
consolidation, it is growing increasingly difficult for independent voices to
find forums to earn visibility and discuss their ideas. Our program prides
itself on presenting a venue for balanced, intriguing debate on today's hot
issues."

I heard it would be live on C-Span, but can not verify.
