Does anyone remember the story that leaked out about Osama's capture? They may be saving that for October.
A lot of minor stories have been released on slow news days so that they get major coverage. Just recently (in June I believe), it was announced that someone was apprehended last fall.

I can imagine sitting before the fire on a crisp autumn day in October, hearing, "This just in -- Osama bin Laden has received his second kidney transplant since being taken into custody in August of 2002. Sources close to the White House have informed us that Osama has been in custody now for over two years and has needed dialysis..."

and when they go through "his computer", they'll find references to some plot to blow up dirty bombs across the country, which, when mapped out, will spell "Vote Kerry" glowing in the dark.
