TV News Story on Bin Laden Family Leaving Country Post 9/11 |
|
I saw a commercial last night about one of the news magazines doing a story on the Bin Laden family leaving the country in the days after 9/11.
I think it was NBC. Did anyone else see it? If so, when is the story being shown?
This story being shown on TV is a direct result of Michael Moore's efforts.

Has anyone seen the commercial advertising this piece to be shown on TV - I think it was on NBC, and for Dateline NBC but I am not sure.

2. yes I saw commercials for it |
|
Matt Lauer of all people, is doing the story for Dateline.
He, of course, trashed Michael Moore over his use of these facts in his movie.
I'm sure Matt will shock us all with some down-and-dirty gumshoe journalism. :eyes:

3. Thanks - Trailer Did Ask Whether Bush Protected Bin Laden Family |
|
So it appears to at least ask the question.

and Matt 'Can I Get Some Hair' Lauer* will probably spin this to Prince Bandar's liking. The puffpiece will likely state or imply that Saudis were allowed to leave ONLY AFTER they were thoroughly questioned. And anyway who's to blame ... no other than that disgruntled, lyin' Ricahrd Clarke!
'Course the fact that it's on the networks during primetime AT ALL could be good since perhaps sheeple will wonder WHY bin Ladens were hastily whisked away regardless of the NBC/GE spin.
* bet he's green with envy about the Democratic team's "better hair!"
