Will he sing like Pavorotti?

Prediction: He's gonna try.

3. If Chimpy shows that much brass and temerity...
And pardons Lay's waste-of-skin-and-gravity ass, then Kerry should order a full-scale investigation of the Chimp and the maladministration on the grounds of Bad Taste and Awful Timing.

That would be beyond the pale. Where, it seems, these clowns get their mail.

6. I keep hearing "pardon" regarding Lay but take a look at this
and tell me bush*s hands aren't tied with an election just down the road...

10. you don't believe any of that, do you?
bush loses in November and pardons Lay and a cast of thousands in December. Guaranteed.

13. So long as bush* loses I can live with that. They'll be smacked right
in the face with their hypocrisy when we dust off their quotes about pardons granted by Bill Clinton before leaving office.

9. Can he be pardoned?
I don't understand how pardons work. Can he be pardoned if he hasn't been convicted of anything yet by Nov.? If so would that just put an end to the trial if it were in progress?

11. the president can pardon just about anybody for just about anything
traditionally in the last month of serving.

if the bushgang steals the election again in November, he might not pardon Lay. He'll just make sure the trial drags on for four years. Then he'll pardon him in December 2007 before Jeb takes office in 2008.

4. I wonder how he got to be CEO.
He doesn't seem to be a macho man.
I think he'll cry for his mama.

8. Dont' let that soft exterior fool you - He's tough as nails.
And who's he going to sing about? Certainly not the Bushes. Don't be surprised if Bush pardons him on the way out. Why would he care about it causing a stink? The Bushes are finished. Jeb must be royally pissed. America won't make the Bush mistake again.

Baker will give Lay the same talk Tom Hagen gave Frankie Pentangeli in the Godfather II. ;-)
