Just saw a new Kerry campaign ad, and I am IMPRESSED!

The subject was "energy independence", and it was VERY well-scripted, imho. The final line -- which, I'm so sorry to say, I cannot recall verbatim -- was excellent. I thought it used some very key words that just might make "swing" voters sit up and take notice.

Anyway, I'm writing this as someone who has not been at ALL enthused about Kerry, but was committed to voting for him solely because it would a vote AGAINST bush*.

What cheers me most is the fact that MAYBE this time the Dems are actually being smart and strategic about how they're campaigning. Using the correct buzzwords (code) designed to steal the thunder from the right wing talking points.

Kerry HAS to win (and I'll happily make myself a constant radical nuisance once he gets in), therefore I am truly thrilled to see that his campaign appears to be making some very intelligent moves toward achieving that goal.

But: The Edwards pick has EXPLODED this candidacy into the forefront, and is blowing them away .. mowing them down ....
