I read it right, but it looks like there are over a half a million responses.

6. It wouldn't let me vote |
|
I think this is the same running poll that has been going for over a week. I voted for Kerry over a week ago and I guess it is keeping track of cookies so as not to let people vote too many times.

7. That's incredible - over a half-million responces and Kerry has that |
|
much of a lead? I suppose it might be different if it was a Faux News poll, but that is still a very large gap.

Free Republic or Du really can't do much to change this poll. With over 500,000 votes, this really are just regular visitors on their website.
It's pretty encouraging.

10. 36% for Bush is a rock hard number, could slip a little and I will |
|
be pleased if it does. For years now, in my unofficial and unscientific analysis - the right wing solid base is about 27 to 37%. He got mileage from phoney patriotism ever since 9-11 and the constant fear and rah rah support and fear of 'invasion' has boosted his base support. He may still go high on some things related with a fear motivator, but it may not get much better (minus unforeseen lies or events).
