What do you think will happen with Kenny Boy now that he has been indicted |
|
For one thing, I think he will eventually get off sadly. Whether Bush wins or loses, he will get Kenny off. This could hurt Bush. I really believe this has the potential to blow up in his face.
On another note, why did it take so long for them to indict him in the first place?

1. I Pardon Thee, Kenny Boy |

It will be one of Bush's last thrusts in the screwing of America.

2. at first I thought he would be pardoned |

But the more I think about it, the less I think that. Seems to me, to the Bushes, loyalty is a one-way street.

5. He Will Be Pardoned the day after the Election. Win or Lose |
|
They will try to stall until then to avoid any damaging public testimony, then the pardon will be retroactive, and stop any trial or prosecution in progress.
They might assert national security grounds to stop civil suits as well, as they did with Sybil Edmonds' suit.
They will do it regardless of the outcome of the election. They cannot afford to have Ken Lay go to trial. The testimony would be too damaging to the kleptocracy.

I was downtown tonight and there are a couple of dozen news trucks parked near the Federal Courthouse. I saw one or two CNN trucks and trucks from all over Texas.
It will be a fun perp walk tomorrow.

7. My favorite fantasy is |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 01:11 AM by jokerman2004
My favorite one is that there is a consortium of world powers working with our side to bring down the regime now simply because they're bad for America, and that's bad for commerce and development everywhere.
BFEE and minions took a shot at the golden ring and screwed the pooch.
So...BFEE and minions? You are the weakest link.
Good-bye!
I wouldn't hazard a guess how it all works financially, but I think the "world powers" are playing for keeps right now. And you know how it goes, we're just able to glimpse the public layers of some serious high level doings that are exposing these criminals right and left. They even give criminals a bad name!
I hope for the best.
I really believe the whole Bush/Cheney "war and energy mafia" has by now done such severe damage to this country, and to the balance of power on this planet by its reckless policies, that an "intervention" has been in order.
Which is to say, until all the threads play themselves out, it's going to be near impossible to predict. Remember, things often start out these days as one thing, and then become something else just because of the countless variables at play as events develop.
But...I think the bastard's going get what's coming to him.
