KERRY CONSIDERED HILLARY FOR VP
Wed Jul 07 2004 17:19:50 ET

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was considered in the vp slot of the Kerry ticket, Kerry's top headhunter said Wednesday.

"Hillary Clinton is a major leader in our country and an outstanding senator and she was somebody who many of the people I talked to urged us to think about very carefully, which we did," James Johnson explained.

The head of Sen. John Kerry's search for a running mate also revealed how Republican Sen. John McCain rebuffed feelers about joining the Democratic ticket before Kerry had actually offered the slot.

Developing...

Well, no shit Sherlock! They considered MANY people.

Somewhere, some Republican is jerking off over this.

2. That plus the oh so subtle homoerotic jab ...
... at Kerry and Edwards (Can't keep their hands off each other? Oh please.) Speaks to me that Drudge is just coming unglued completely ...

He couldn't take Kerry down with an intern. He couldn't take him down with Botox-gate. Couldn't take him down with Hillary. Now he is trying to take him down because he backslaps his VP? COME ON!

He is frantically casting around for anything now. It's like watching a fish struggling on the dock.

4. I lost all respect for Drudge the Douchebag back in 1999. . .
when in the aftermatch of the Columbine HS tragedy, he insinuated that the two young gunmen were gays for each other.

Fuck him.
