1. Having it on top of the Kerry/Edwards campaign news makes it |
|
even more obvious that it is baloney. I know the banner shows on all their pages, but this is really pointed.

they needed something to take the press away from Edwards. These assholes have no shame. I am convinced that this will backfire. The American have heard "WOLF" from the crying Shrub to many times now.

A lot of people think this alert is to knock Edwards out of the news |
|
I think it's worse than that--they're trying to stop the roll-back of the Patriot Act that's moving forward in Congress.

The desperation is so obvious. I just heard the terrorists are trying to sway the elections, does it ever end?

12. no conspiracy here. CNN uses the red banner for any and all breaking news |
|
If Homeland Security announces a terror alert this is breaking news. Any news agency would be remiss not to post it. Is is a BS ploy by the admin to draw attention away from the Kerry campaign? I would say 100% yes, but it would be irresponsible not to report it as breaking news by a news agency.

Now no one believes in terror alerts. Just another political ploy to get attention away from something else.
This is pathetic!

21. The Only Red Alert is the One Going on in Karl Rove's Office |

at the moment.
"But the NY Post told us Kerry was going to pick Gep."
This has really scrambled their plans. The Bush campaign will now have to defend a lot more states than they first thought.
