My second email to CNN in as many days . . .
Today's email:

Maybe the Kerry campaign is willing to give the Bush administration the benefit of the doubt on using terror alerts/announcements for political gain, but I don't.

They claim there is no new specific information and that the issue was brought up as "just a fact" and to "again raise public awareness." I'm sick & tired of this "little boy who cried wolf" administration & their dirty, manipulative tricks & the pathetic excuse of a media that falls for it.

I suspect the reason this was made an issue today is to try to deflate the media coverage of Kerry/Edwards, and once again, CNN fell for their ploy.

=====

Yesterday's email:

I've about had it with CNN. This morning Bill Hemmer brought up the issue of John Kerry being a flip flopper. The least you could do, to show lack of bias, is to also point out Mr. Bush's flip flops. Of course, then you would have to hire real journalists, instead of the staff of White House mouth pieces you currently employ.

Let me help. Check this out. http://www.americanprogress.org/site/pp.asp?c=biJRJ8OVF&b=42263 When will we see a story on this?

The only good thing I can say about CNN is that you aren't quite as bad as ABC/CBS/NBC & the worst offender of them all, FOX. However, that is not a compliment!

2. You really think that CNN is better than CBS?

3. Whenever I used to do Rapid Response stuff for Dean
and I was writing to big news outlets like this, I knew there was no way that I was going to get a response. I also write to my psycho Senator (Zell Miller. Pity me.) and I always include a line at the bottom saying that I hope whatever intern who read it enjoyed it.

4. It is good to send these things
even if for our own personal sense of efficacy. On the rare occasion when I send an email I notice that I yell at the TV less, much to the delight of my wife.:) Our conclusions are similar regarding CNN, or as I put in my most recent rant to them...

"I can only conclude that the 4th Estate is in foreclosure and the Bush administration is holding the note."

Of course, I do have to admit that I am down right optimistic about Kerry/Edwards, it would be even better if we could get the press to do their job.

5. I usually like CBS, sometimes ABC
both are way better than CNN.
