Where is the story behind this picture?
This picture and caption are from today's Yahoo news photos. When was this briefing? I can't find anything about an exchange with reporters that ended with Chimpy refusing to answer a question and walking off. Does anyone know more about it?

US President George W. Bush (news - web sites)
walks away from a briefing with the media after being
asked about Enron and the reported indictment of former
CEO Kenneth Lay. President Bush (news - web sites) no
longer maintains contact with Lay, White House spokesman
Scott McClellan said.(AFP)

3. I've got a link to the "walking away without commenting" part.
"Bush was asked about the indictment Wednesday at an appearance in Waterford, Mich., but he walked away without answering."

10. Bush Refuses to Answer Questions about Ken Lay
From DU's Bush Refuses to Answer Questions about Ken Lay

US President George W. Bush walks away from a briefing with the media, refusing to answer questions after he was asked about Enron and the reported indictment of former CEO Kenneth Lay, who was a close adviser and fund-raiser for Bush and his father, earning him the presidential nickname of 'Kenny Boy.'

12. THAT was the caption I saw the first time!
It has now been sanitized, no doubt by the White House, for your protection. It now does NOT have the biting reference to Kenny Boy. CheneyHeads!

But I think it was a Snit.
Although others say it was in High Dudgeon.

If it WAS a Snit, I'm pretty sure it was a '58 and not a '57 as has been reported elsewhere.
The '57 didn't have the chrome flipper hubcaps.

Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 03:12 PM by Marianne
the top of the sleeve arm is way too big and then tapers down to the wrist which looks like the forearm is too tight. The pants are not neat, sharp and shipshape.

May he go down in infamy as he deserves for all the killing and murder he has performed upon thousands of human beings. The terror he has caused, and the horrors he has caused, and the hatred of this country he has caused all over the world, which is unprecedented.

May he forever be known in the history books as the miserable failure, the dumb, incurious, religiously delusional, spoiled son of another failed president. May the Bush name be forever sullied because of the actions and behavior of this dull, stupid and evil man.
