Will Theresa Heinz be the Right's new Hillary Clinton?
Now that Hillary has been attacked non-stop for the past 12 years, will they shift their attention to Theresa Heinz? She strikes me as the type of woman that drives the Right crazy. Conservatives have always hated women who challenge the 1950s housewife stereotype (Laura Bush, anyone?), and when a woman as prominent as the First Lady is a strong, smart, independent woman it's even harder for them to take.

2. Oh yeah...
Bigoted men hate to see women richer and more powerful than they are. I expect THK will be attacked without mercy. I think she can handle it though. And unlike Hillary, I don't think she has any political aspirations which means she can just pretty much ignore them.

Repugs are so threatened by independent women, even (especially?) female repugs... They're traitors to their own gender. They hate women because they hate themselves.

3. Repubs haven't had an original thought in a century
They only know one type of attack, so that's what they'll use.

4. Nope...it's going to be Elizabeth.
She's an intelligent, successful, accomplished woman in her own right and a lawyer like her hubby. They're alread trying to knock her on her looks. I think she's very attractive, but I've seen others say she's 'fat'. :(

Since Theresa used to be Republican, they'll probably just call her a traitor and be done with it.

6. I've actually posted on this a bit.
I think Teresa is smart enough to know she needs to maintain a lower profile than Hillary did, at least until after the election. She's going to have to be more subtle, whether it's right and just or not, to avoid the ugly right wing backlash that hammered Hillary (and by association, Bill) so hard.

7. No, she is easily as intelligent and probably better educated than even...
Hillary, but she has no political ambitions of her own...and her teeth are very long and sharp. She has already warned, she will use her fortune against anyone attacking her family, and you have to assume she includes herself in that.

The GOP would do well to keep their crude tricks to themselves in her case...they might just pull back a bloody stump.

8. Hillary
will always be the right's "Hillary" as long as she's in office. Theresa will only be a runner-up in the contest for their hate.

11. I agree
They will never give Theresa the Hillary treatment

Even though, like Hillary, she is intelligent, opinionated, strong, and independent, she will NOT get the same treatment from the media because, unlike Hillary, Theresa is rich, rich, rich, and any media whore that attacks her will find that his/her employer has been bought by Theresa, who will then fire the whore.

10. Whoever is running is the right's new Hillary.
When Dean was out in front, he was demonized.

Any Democrat, any liberal, anyone who opposes any part of the right-wings plans, will be vilified.
