I was just watching Harold Ford, Jr. on c-span.org |
Wow! This guy impresses the hell out of me! If this is the future of the Democratic party, we're in good hands. :)

5. My money's on Barack as well |
He's got liberal roots and is an incredibly gifted communicator. Ford is an underwhelming moderate politician who is about to be totally eclipsed by Obama.

2. He is quite conservative |
He supports school prayer, school vouchers, the flag burning amendment, and private investment accounts for Social Security. He voted for the partial birth abortion ban, PNTR with China, repeal of the estate tax and the war in Iraq.
So, he may be too conservative for many in the democratic party.
