Major artist Richard Serra's effort to stop Bush

My husband works with this artist and he has produced other anti-Bush art. The full sized image of this piece is incredible -- absolutely mind-blowing. Serra hopes the image will get widespread dissemination. I think he's planning on getting it put up on bill boards, etc.
Check out the www.pleasevote.com site for other images.

5. A printer would charge about $35 for a blow up.
I can supply any high quality format since I have the original files.
The one above is only 30% out of 100% quality.
a pm is all it takes but for whatever reason no one has ever asked.

11. Who are you -- are you connected to Richard?
My husband has had the image blown up to about 60" X 60" for Richard -- it's just dynamite! He is the manager of a fine art publisher and is also a master printer, so I guess he can put the image on a sign for me -- but thanks for the offer.

.... Goya was a lifelong rebel. ....

Goya's observation of the world led him to believe that the eighteenth century philosophers' dream of Reason only produced monsters. ....

...The horrors of war became his subject, and his paintings and etchings exhibited the atrocities that men visit upon one another in the name of "God and Country." The Third of May, 1808 (below) is Goya's response to the slaughter of 5,000 Spanish civilians who were executed in reprisal for a revolt against the French army without regard to whether they were guilty or innocent. Until Goya, warfare was generally painted as a glorified pageant of heros. ....

12. Yep -- but he also does paper images which are dynamite.
Usually they are heavily embossed- like black images -- you have to see them in the 'flesh', so to speak, to appreciate how good they are. His stuff sells like crazy among art collectors.
