Just Saw The Hunting Of The President |
|
Excellent documentary, in many ways much better than F 9/11.
Many insights into the right-wing cabal.
Probably the most important storyline is that the actions of the media in the 90s foretold the story of the media we see today.
Very depressing.

7. You know when I really remembered how much I admire |
|
Susan MacDougal?
I heard her interviewed when Martha Stewart was convicted. The interviewer (I think it was on CNN) asked her what advice she would give Martha Stewart about prison.
Susan's answer was so compassionate. You could just hear in her voice that she felt great sympathy for Stewart. She gave several good pieces of advice about how to get along, how to avoid getting into trouble with other inmates. She cautioned that Stewart should know that there would be people, both inmates and guards, who would try to be mean to her or hurt her because of who she was.
At the end, she said that most of all, Martha should know that she is strong and she could get through the ordeal and that she would be all right.
It was a rare instance of kindness and compassion expressed towards Martha Stewart, and I admired Susan MacDougal for it.

6. If you liked her in the movie... |

I recommend her book. "The Woman Who Wouldn't Talk", by Susan McDougal, is riveting and heartwarming and a great read.
