"Every polling place a potential target..."
Edited on Fri Jul-09-04 07:52 AM by BiggJawn
Just heard that on "The Osgoode File" on CBS Radio....Yeah, never mind the conventions, Al-Kaseltzah is gonna attack every polling place in the country....

Forget about the "Swing Voter". Thery're gonna be so frightened that they'll stay home, clutching the magical 9-11 teddy bears...

Thank you, Tommy Timber-toes. Why don't you duck-tape a piece of that plastic sheeting over your HEAD, asshole!

Tommy Franks tells Cigar Afficienado that we'll welcome martial law with open arms, Ridge tells us to be afraid, be very afraid, They keep talking about "what happened in Madrid" and how "Terra" is gonna derail Democracy...

They're getting us ready. They put these talking points out there, so when they finally let the other shoe drop and tell us that Bush/Cheney will reluctantly serve for the duration of T.W.A.T.(tm) because it's too dangerous to hold an election, The Sheeple will just shrug and go shopping....

Funny how Al-Kaseltzah NEVER plans to hit Wal-Mart, isn't it?

Firearms, that is.

2. That's one way to prevent high voter turnout!
Which, coincidentally, ALWAYS favors the Dems!

4. I was just thinking...
that this was going to affect the milita right much more then the left. I think we're going to be pretty fearless this election.

7. It's gonna backfire on 'em!
People care about something most when it is being lost. People will see through the ploys to discourage their voting and turn out in droves. We are not afraid of the fear monger, bully government. We stood up to King George and we will stand up and fight George W. Bush and the corporate cabal.

5. But logically -- what would that accomplish?
Maybe they'll scare the wrong people. Who most likely would hide in their Xurban house if there was a terrorist scare? Republicans.

Of course there is the "little old lady" factor -- (there are two types of little old ladies ;)).... I fully believe many of them are cool and have weathered a lot of crap, and those who have weathered a lot of crap that have turned into stark raving mad fundies who thank Jesus for Bush.

Maybe the crazies would stay home and duct tape their house.

9. I think they'd have to duct tape my
little ol' lady (Dem) mom in her house, this year, to keep her away from the polls, that's for damned sure! I think you're right -- the ones that believe them are the ones that'll believe this, too, so maybe they ought to be careful what they wish for, eh?

6. Good News! They will scare the Bush sheeps away from the polls...
And the ignorant, pliant sheeps are the ones who will vote for Bush.
Those of us who want Bush out will never be too scared to vote.

10. They'll post "guards" at every Democratic friendly
precinct in the nation--or at least in the battleground states--just like they did in Florida in 2000.

11. Yeah, Sure
In my little town, in the middle of the country, 60 miles from the nearest metro area, we're going to have a polling place attack.

I'm just terrified!

13. Repeat after me!
There is never any reason to cancel elections. Pospone yes maybe...cancel NEVER!

Funny how nnow that BBV and other groups are calling for monitoring...BUSHCO is calling for cancellation. Me thinks they are scared shitless of fair elections.

14. You cut to the chase with regards to this war on terror nonsense...
And its utility to the ruling regime. Yesterday was a day that should have been spent by the media following the Kerry/Edwards coronation train, adding free coverage to help build our head of steam... But instead, we get this nonsense from Homeland Defense, with no new information on their part, and not even a rise in the alert level!

Obviously, they hope fear will keep turnout low, which always helps the GOP, and at the very least, drive favorable coverage of the democrats from its position as lead story of the day.

However, these 'alerts' are wearing thin... You can only keep peoples nerves on edge so long, before they start get pissed off.
