My LTTE
Just sent this in to the local some what moderate paper,
What do ya think?
Dear Sirs,

The Republican party says that John Edwards inexperience makes him unqualified to be V ice President. By the current administration's standards I 'm afraid they are right, although at six years in the Senate, John Edwards has the same amount government service coming into office as George Bush had with his six years as Govenor of Texas, John Edwards has four years less experience than George Bush in running up a record deficet of over a half trillion dollars, John Edwards has less experience in causing the loss of over 2 million jobs ,less experience presiding over the worst intelligence failures in this country's history, less experience in curtaling our civil liberties with the Patriot Act and John Edwards has much less experience than George Bush in causing the deaths of 800+ American soilders and countless Iraqi civilians by starting an unprovoked, pointless, and immoral war based on lies and deceptions.

John Edwards has a less illustrious war record than George Bush's legendary partail service in the Texas Air National Guard where Lt. Bush bravely volunteered for hundreds of dangerous missions to base officer's clubs while not busy shirking his duties. John Edwards also has less experience in draft dodging than our couragous Vice President Dick " I had other priorities" Cheney. Five collage deferments less in fact. , John Edwards dosen't have Dick Cheney's experence in conflicts of intrest by securing 7 billion dollar no bid contracts for the Halliburton company that he headed before being elected. I'm pretty sure that John Edward has no experience in condoning the torture of POWs held in American custody . I'll also bet good money that John Edwards has absolutly zero experence in commiting treason by exposing our CIA agents to the world by leaking their names to the press, as happened with Valere Plame. John Edwards has no experience in the corporate cronyism practiced by BushINC., John Edwards has no experience in the polictal pandering of proposing to amend the Constituion for the first time in it's history to deny the rights of a group of individuals with the gay marriage ban. Yes it is true John Edwards is by Republican standards, too inexperenced to hold the office of VP, but by the standards of the rest of us, John Edwards is a smart, articulate champion of the American people and our ideals, and is qualified beyond doubt to hold the office of Vice-President and President

1. My paper limits you to 250 words - but I like the thoughts!
and I hope it gets published!

2. Edwards has a record of inheriting a small surplus
and nurturing it into a larger surplus.

Top that, Monkeyboy!
