3. michael moore said it's a lie, it's a RW created story
I heard an interview with Al Franken and Michael Moore where he addressed the lies being spread by wingnuts to keep people from seeing F911. Go to the AAR site and go to the O-Franken archives. I'm pretty sure it's June 25, but you can try the June 24 or June 26. It's the one with Bill Clinton also.

Moore apparently has a team of lawyers to attack people spreading these lies because I haven't heard them since around that time but I suppose the whispering campaign is still out there. Anyway, you can be sure that Hezbollah couldn't care less about film, this one or any other!

Hezbollah

and wants to fund a film (to be exact - "a UAE-based distributor Front Row Entertainment has been contacted by organisations related to the Hezbollah in Lebanon with offers of help"

now name that organization - anyone - anyone? .... ?

Indeed, same Fox source said same thing about film "the passion of Christ".

Fox sources are as solid as those used by Murdoch's NY Post!

(on edit: fellow in this thread noted that the Guardian ran this story - still it is "unsourced" as to "who" is the Hezbollah org that wants to cut a check)

4. Yea I only did it about 40 times here at DU
But no one has really bothered to reply to it!!

Well since at least ONE person seems interested in this here you go:

From The Guardian Unlimited

"Meanwhile, in the United Arab Emirates, the film is being offered the kind of support it doesn't need. According to Screen International, the UAE-based distributor Front Row Entertainment has been contacted by organisations related to the Hezbollah in Lebanon with offers of help."

This is where the story was first heard, and here it was based on a story from the SI, which names NO organizations in particular, just "organizations"

All in all, it's cloudy at best there is concrete proof that Hezbollah is a loud supporter of this film.

Now to me the repukes are trying to infer that they gave money to Moore to make this movie.

As you can see the very charge that Hezbollah offered monetory support to this film is based on a he said-she said theory with no substance.

6. There's no need to debunk it.

Hezbollah does want to distribute it in the Middle East. There's nothing Moore can do about that. Just like there was nothing Gibson could do about the "Passion" being revered in the Middle East as a final indictment of the hated Jew, and endorsed by the very same organizations. Of course, the wingnuts didn't seem to care about that...
