Why don't we just take a poll ??????
Was it wrong to invade Iraq on false pretenses? Should anyone be held responsible for almst 900 dead Americans and thousands wounded? Why not just take a poll? Wait! Here's a bulletin! AP, MSNBC, and Newsweek have combined to ask these very questions! Guess what the results are?? (a) Fifty-one percent say it was still OK to invade and 45% say it was a disastrous policy. (b) Moreover, 56% say no one should be held responsible because it was an honest "mistake".

So, with this poll, we can legitimize any criminal act we desire? With these polls, we can convince people that something that was so obviously wrong is really just a difference of opinion. It was just a disagreement in policy matters, don't you see? I can't wait for this poll to excuse this criminal act.

2. Americans should hang their heads in shame.
Anyway it just confirms my fundamental belief that at least 50% of Americans are ignorant and happy to be that way.

It also reinforces my belief that we will be very lucky to pull out a win in the next election. It's still Shrub's to lose.

3. Yep...we have a new poll confirming that fact...
55% believe they do not know enough to form an opinion and believe Bush will do the right thing becasue he is a Christian. Also, 68% ar happy with the fact that they are ignorant.

4. I'm glad that you can be so generous. I'm becoming more convinced
that I'm in a morally bankrupt society where greed and self interest rule.

5. Nothing is scarier...
than the American people, for giving the most incompetent President in memorable history a high positive support rating.

Actually, to see patriotic jingoism and religious exploitation so easily and so completely cloud American minds is beyond scary, it is terrifying.

6. Alright! Here's another poll!
Fity-three percent think Bush is the most "competent" candidate running for the presidency. I guess that's the end of that story ?? That is the impact of polls. They suck and are destructive to a free press and a democratic government.
