9. Why Isn't What Happened At Khamisiyah Ever Mentioned?

Khamisiyah, the gigantic weapons depot that was visited by special ops of the US military at the end of Gulf War I. They destroyed sarin-containing warheads at that time. This is admitted to in a White Paper of the CIA published in 1996 entitled "Khamisiyah: A Historical Perspective On Related Intelligence". During the hearings on Gulf War Syndrome, the US government informed us that they didn't keep records on all the WMD that we destroyed at the end of Gulf War I. They further didn't declassify all of their records pertaining to this. These were covert operations and continued to be classified because much of this war materiel was provided by US corporations pursuant to export licenses authorized by the US Department of Commerce under Ronald Reagan and George Bush I. My guess is that the Pentagon knows we destroyed much if not all of Saddam Hussein's WMD at the end of the Gulf War I. How could we have passed up that opportunity? The military did this covertly because we were gassing our own people; our own military was in the region being exposed to the WMD we were destroying. The cover up continued during the hearings on Gulf War Syndrome, to avoid bankrupting the country with medical costs. And when George Bush wanted to invade Iraq, the cover-up continued, as it allowed him to continue claiming Saddam could not account for his WMD and that he must still have had them. Yet, we have one chink in the armor, one CIA White Paper in 1996 that admitted at least one instance of our military's destruction of WMD at Khamisiyah at the conclusion of Gulf War I. There is surely a lot more being covered up. Why is no reporter investigating this?
