for something worthwhile, like peacekeeping in the Sudan or something...I wonder how many Repugs will "support the troops" then.

Kind of a random question for a Friday afternoon.

4. I seem to recall nothing but criticism when Clinton sent troops to Somalia
And so many of them just don't get it. Whatever the reason, they'll say he's "flip-flopping" since he is against how this war was conducted.

I am not anti-ALL-wars but I am certainly anti-MOST-wars -- certainly when there are alternatives but there's no such thing as "shades of gray" for most conservatives.

6. Sorry
Clinton didn't send troops to Somalia. George H. W. Bush did.

5. They will use, without shame, Lott's remarks
"you can support the troops and not support the president"

and the hypocrisy will never once register with them
