How Will You View The Convention?
I hadn't even given it any thought until I saw the between-scene preview on C-Span just a couple of minutes ago, how was I going to watch the Convention? C-Span will cover it end to end but I'm sure they will just turn on the camera and walk away. There will be interviews and good camera shots but there probably won't be any commentary. I'll only know what I am seeing, but miss having someone also telling me what is going on in the next room or down the street.

So I'm not sure if I want it without commentary or not, but if I do then what? Which network is likely to have the least bias in their coverage? Now that's a tricky one. If there is any sort of chaos at all its actually possible that FOX would give it good coverage, but among the more likely networks which would be best? I hate channel hopping.

What do you think?

1. I Hope Air America Gives Some Good Commentary.
They are the only people I trust for good, accurate commentary. The rest of the networks can go Cheney-off.

3. From the press gallery
My son, who is a Congressman from NY invited us to the convention and I then contacted one of our local newspapers in Arizona, suggesting that I cover the convention for them. They agreed and I just received word that the National Convention has granted me press credentials!

5. Will do my best
Don't know if I'll have the time or the accommodations to get on the computer other than to write the piece I promised the local newspaper, but will sure try. If all else fails, I'll post a few highlights when I return.
