What does Dear Leader personally think of evolution?
It would be interesting to see the reaction of his base if he gave a clear answer to a question like, "Do you believe humans evolved from apes?" or "Do you believe a catastrophic flood destroyed the Earth as Genesis tells us?"

He either accepts the Word of God as truth, or has been duped by the secular humanists agenda to turn everybody into atheists and then outlaw religion.

Timothy Noah hints at an answer: he likes it both ways: http://slate.msn.com/id/1006378/

1. He clearly believes in social darwinism...
You know -- that he and his "class" are better than the rest of us, because they are the clear "winners" in the "struggle for existence". Of course, he wouldn't admit this, but his actions scream it. (It goes almost without saying that the idea is complete bunk.)

Beyond that I would be surprised if he gives it a "thought". Besides, taking a clear position would not be smart politics -- so he isn't going to -- Rove will make sure of that.

2. On social darwinism ...
The most noble West fertilizing the seeds of democratic change in the Middle East with gentle rain from B-52s is social darwinism in action at it's worst.

3. That dude don't "Hunt", he don't Think, he don't Read, he don't have

Vision, he makes a fighting fist with his thumbs out, he takes 746578698 hits to hammer an eight penny nail into soft wood, uses 76354657 matches to start a camp fire, and, and, rides horses "side saddle"... which explains the real story of why you never see him on a horse, never did learn to tie knots, or lasso a calf.

What he does know:

He sure knows how to piss people off.... royally...

He knows how to make the wrong decisions....then lie about them..

He knows how to avoid work....43 % vacation is my kinda life...if I only could...

He knows how to be Obedient to his Masters...

and we gonna ask him about evolution?? He don't even comprehend the damn theory.... a waste of time...really.

4. Bush* think?

It seems unlikely, given his actions. He operates on instinct, without reflection on his actions, and is proud of it. He has claimed never to lose sleep over the war, which indicates he either doesn't think or doesn't want to admit he thinks.

7. Yes, He says he has better values. Did he come from a monkey?
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 06:19 AM by shockingelk
He's campaigning on the claim his values reflect American values. He's targeting the religious vote, I think people have the right to know.

For a large part of America, a necessary value is having faith that the Bible is the literal word of God. Does Bush share that value?

When God decided to wipe mankind from the face of the Earth, destroying His Creation. But there was one righteous man, Noah, who God warned to build an ark so he could survive the Flood. Does Bush uphold the authority of the Bible or does he believe the Bible is something other than the Word of God?

I mean, think about it. How would you feel if someone called your God a liar? On the other hand, think about Bush saying he believed the Earth was 6,008 years and 156 days old and ...

"I didn't come from no monkey!"

"Don't misunderestimate me. It's freakin' obvious that the Earth is more than several thousand year old."
