The very sad thing about this, besides being a blatant effort to prop up Bush #2, it is that it sends the message that "War is a noble and honorable effort." It is an outright ploy to try and justify the atrocity that is going on in Iraq.

11. I saw some of it--once

And what I kept thinking of were two things:

1. He got voted out after one term. You really have to stink for that to happen.

2. He flew combat missions in WWII. His son avoided service in Vietnam.

So if this is a ploy to either tie Bush 2 to Bush 1 (like with Reagan) or to compare "war" records, I really don't think either will work. Enough already!
