1. We got one in the mail
yesterday. Bushs on the cover. Guess subscribers don't get a choice.

I never read it, but sat down and read both interviews of Bush and Kerry. It was interesting, Theresa is a very interesting woman. I think she'd make a great first lady. Laura seemed like the mom in "Pleasantville"...a June Cleaver wannabe.

The interview made me respect John Kerry a bit more than before. To me, it seems like he's a lot more down to earth than the news stories show him to be.

3. My mom and aunts subscribe, too
They are all huge Kerry fans, but received LHJ issues with Bush on them, so they didn't get to "vote." What a joke. Is Diebold handling the LHJ "polling?"

6. my dead mother in laws copy
We are getting my mother in laws mail here (She died in Dec) and we got the Bush copy as well. You should have heard me curse coming up the drive-way. Now I am sure that you are correct that it is random but It gave me an opportunity to swear at my republican mother in law one last time for having died and putting that thing in my box.

7. It was announced that all subscription covers will be Bush
It will be interesting to see if you will be able to get the Kerry cover in predominantly Repug areas.

5. I saw the editor on CNN
She said that everyone would get to choose who they want. I wonder if they sent out all Bush to the members or 50/50. We should ask them. The people who got Bush should call the magazine up and ask for the other one. My husband said and I agree if enough people did that, they wouldn't send it out like that again without asking the members which one they want first.
