1. Didn't you read the description of Kerry/Edwards rally yesterday and |
|
the repug disrupters? No, they are not restricted to "zones" and they can come in and disrupt, apparently. Kerry handled them with class.

2. No I must have missed that one |
|
 I imagine Kerry would not try and hide people away like the Cabal does.

I missed that story but I seem to remember that the Big Dog could handle disrupters with ease, too. Do you have a link to the story, or do I have to do my own work? ;)

I went. There were about 40 protesters. I was able to get into the rally and when I got out it had dwindled down to about 10 (that I could see, the Kerry supporters were so numerous outside it was difficult to see across the street). There was a mesh fence put up, but I'm not sure if that was the city's doing. Kerry and Bush supporters were free to cross the street and talk (or yell lol) to each other.

5. There was only one lone protestor in Ft. Lauderdale |
|
He was pretty pathetic, walking around with a hand made sign. At one point he started yelling "four more years", the crowd drowned him our yelling "four more months". He eventually gave up and slunk off.

That the police "generously" estimated the crowed at 10,000 (I noticed the trib didn't say generously, go figure). All I know is I thought I got there early (about 6:30, they didn't start letting anyone in until about 9) and there were at least 200 people ahead of me. As time went on you could see the line wrapping around two blocks (I was next to a vacant lot and could see). When I got out it took about 10 minutes (didn't know kerry was planning on coming out!! I wanted to beat the traffic) just to get from the door to the street! People were still coming even after the rally was over.
