Wow, Kerry is a new man!
My goodness, I never thought I would see Kerry as a charismatic, youthful and energetic guy, but I'll be damned if adding Edwards to the ticket hasn't made him just that. It's really amazing to behold. He's a new man. His whole demeanor has changed.

He needed this so bad, and I believe it's really going to pay off for him. (and us).

2. I am loving it!
From AP:

Does Kerry worry that Edwards, a trial lawyer with a celebrated rhetorical flair, might upstage him at the party's convention and on campaign platforms?

"I hope he does; that's terrific. That means I really picked him better than I thought," Kerry said.

Edwards joined in: "How in the world do you upstage - I might have missed something, but I think he won the nomination."

"And there's a reason he won the nomination," Edwards said. "The truth is that we're a great team; we're a great partnership; we're having fun."

because i'm finding myself liking kerry more NOW that he's picked edwards, i don't know why...

i'm sure, too, that it's a relief for him having a teammate... that's GOTTA be a load off.

on edit: i REALLY like this pic. i think it's my favorite so far. not only the enthusiasm in the crowd and in the candidates, but just look at the mix in the group, a real snapshot of america.

4. Kerry is suffering from...
being the most important nominee in recent history. I gave him a break on that for a bit, and, he's a Sagittarius, all free wheeling and positive. Given his Sun Sign, I would say the the "dour" side of him is more about the effects of DC politics than anything else. His idealism shows up however in all the old footage from the 60's...

Edwards and Kerry both bring out the best in each other. That's a sign of a great team in any endeavor.

14. Agree, think he looks
much more relaxed, as well. Much credit Edwards for that.
*note to newsguyatl* - do you want to join the effort in Atlanta (if you haven't already)....go to: www.kerrywingeorgia.org

15. But the media says he's stiff and boring!
Who are you going to believe? Your own deceiving eyes or the corporate media?

They are lying about the poll numbers too. Kerry is actually rocking Bush's world but you won't hear that on TV.

17. Kerry had to have the warmth all along or it would not be there to be....
brought out into the sunshine. Edwards has only helped to put on display what was there already - warmth, friendliness, affection,a sense of humor, etc.
