Kerry/Edwards should, in my opinion, address two deadly serious problems facing the country. First and foremost is energy. Kerry needs to just come out and say we are going to get with it on finding alternative energy sources and it starts now. A five year, balls to the wall program to get this country off the Mid East oil nipple. No more sliding and gliding lip service.

A close second is health care. This situation is out of control. Single payer system for all. That's it, period. The idea that some citizens receive the best health care money can get while others suffer is a humanitarian crime.

Repubes are going to do nothing and those that oppose progressive stances should be labeled unpatriotic, anti American and right wing loonies.

Some one will have to take on the use of oil someday as you just can not keep this use up. You sort of can not stop the world from fighting back. There is only so much of anything. Does anyone recall the endless cod in the seas? Well they are almost gone.------I think that on health care you run into this. If your tax money are going to do the heavy lifting in this field the tax papers will have to get what they pay for. From study on the health in the world to keeping the fire men on the job to watch for fires in hospitals, the tax payers pay every step of the way. Time people woke up on that also.
