Trump slams Bush on Iraq
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/210552p-181432c.html

President Bush, you should be fired.

The Donald has turned thumbs down on the President's war in Iraq, calling it a "mess."

"What was the purpose of the whole thing?" Donald Trump asks in an Esquire interview. "Hundreds of young people killed. And what about the people coming back with no arms and no legs?"

"Tell me, how is it possible that we can't find a guy who's 6-foot-6 and supposedly needs a dialysis machine?" Trump said. "Can you explain that one to me? We have all our energies focused on one place - where they shouldn't be focused."

1. Trump was a guest on one of the RW gasbag radio shows last week.
Trump started railing against * and the Iraq War and the host (don't remember who) was speechless. I really don't think he saw it coming.
LMAO. What could he do? Take on a major uber-capitalist icon?

hot damn! this is great news!
One of the biggest capitalists in the world is saying Iraq is screwed up.

To freepers, Trump is no whiney, liberal professor. He's one of their own.

5. heard him say once in an interview a while ago....
don't ask me what show or who the interviewer was.... I don't know.... he was promoting his show...
when asked how he felt about the primaries.... he wouldn't say anyone's name, but he did say that despite popular belief the last four years have proven that democrats are better for the creativity and optimism that creates new economic opportunities and industries

6. Trump is an honest capitalist
I remember an interview with him in the 1980s, asking why he was constructing business and resort buildings instead of concentrating on the affordable housing that had originally made the family fortune. Remember, this was when the homelessness problem was fresh enough that the major media actually paid it any attention. Trump answered honestly that he changed focus because the tax code changed to favor business construction over residential.

8. Honest? He also claimed he was self-made
Apparently being self-made includes getting your multi-millionaire father to guarantee a $400,000 loan when you're 19.

10. I'm afraid
that's a national self-deception that includes most of the middle class.

7. I was just checking out Trump's campaign donations yesterday
at www.newsmeat.com and he regularly donates to Democrats as well as Republicans. I was surprised by both Trump and Bill Gates. I didn't total it up but the last half dozen or so of Trump's donations have been to Democrats. Here's the link: http://www.newsmeat.com/fec/bystate_detail.php?last=Trump&first=Donald

11. The Donald is letting the poor Freeps down

Posted on 06/29/2004 3:01:19 PM PDT by Ramonan
Donald Trump just did an interview with Sean Hannity's stand-in. Listening to him, Trump parroted Liberal chants and mantras: Iraq is a mess. The U.S. needs to get out of Iraq. The U.S. needs to clean up Iraq before our economy can improve, yet like Michael Moore , Trump contradicted himself and said we can not build here because all the steel, concrete and lumber are going to Iraq.

To: Ramonan
I was monitoring Trump "The Chump". He should stick to what he knows -business, pretty girls and golf. He's clearly clueless when it comes to international politics and international military strategery. I'd rate his Iraq IQ on a par with his hair grooming IQ. He also is one of those who has forgotten 9/11. Sad.

:nopity:

12. Oh, yes, the Donald has forgotten 9/11
the day he could look out his window and see WTC. The day that Saddam Hussein flew planes into the ...what? It wasn't Hussein? He had nothing to do with it? The dickens, you say.
