wow.

edit: thought I linked to it the right way, fixed now.

just to comment, AOL probably skews to the right, but also, to be honest, most people who look up online news lean left.

3. for those of you not on AOL...
Currently it shows electoral votes as follows:

Bush: 137
Kerry: 401

Another interesting thing is it shows Utah going to Bush, but just barely, by 2 popular votes. Stuff like that makes me wonder if a bunch of Dems are voting early and often. I can't imagine int he real world Bush winning UT by such a narrow margin.

The poll shows Bush taking the South except Arkansas,Florida, and Virginia plus Indiana, Utah, Idaho and North Dakota.

4. Possibly, Possibly Not
Possibly these polls are skewed by overzealous Democrats--or possibly not. When I was on AOL, their political polls were often "Freeped" by organized groups of right-wingers to show exaggerated right-wing support for "conservative" positions or reactionary political candidates. Possibly a group of progressives have started counter-freeping or the reactionaries are all on vacation. Or maybe, Heaven showing mercy on this great republic of ours, people are getting fed up with George UU Bush and the Republican Party and the incumbents are in for a very rude comeuppance in November.
