Freepers are sooo welcoming
Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 10:14 PM by Ruffhowse
Tried to hang out on Free Republic for a while tonight with my troll account and scout out the enemy. As soon as I spoke up in a post that argued a different point of view, I was attacked and trashed, and ultimately booted off the system. All I did was express an opinion that I didn't like Tom DeLay. I guess if you don't march in goose step order with the other Nazis on "Free" Republic, you are the enemy and must be eliminated (or gassed or some other type of genocide). Oh well, guess I won't be spying on them again anytime soon. Excuse me, I need to go take a good hot shower to get the stink of them off me.
Unlike "Free" Republic, this board allows a wide range of discussion, which I very much appreciate. I have not noticed a "party line" that must be maintained in posts. Thank God for liberals.

1. Das ist der Herr Bush
(Satire)

Is'n Massenmörder.

12. sehr lustig!
For non-German readers (excuse the racist language):

Here is Mr. Bush. He looks like a pretty nice guy, but he's really an asshole. In fact, he's a mass murderer. He has to be this way. Mr. Buch is supposedly from Texas and was the governor there, that is, he was the head of the government. So when there is a murder in Texas, they just string up the next Darkie they can find. It's that simple. Of course, Mr. Bush didn't do this all by himself; he had his people to help him - judges and juries - that keep the Black population in check; and doctors, who inject the Darkies with poison. No fuss, no muss, and no trees need perish in this pursuit. There aren't any more trees in Texas anyway. It doesn't matter; that's what the oil wells are for.

Now Mr. Bush is President of the United States. Whether he was chosen by a majority of the people, no-one knows for sure, because the ballots were never properly counted. It doesn't matter to him, though. Mr. Bush had his people to help him out. In the Supreme Court, he had people his father put there, and they made it so. In this manner, Mr. Bush was made the President, and now he lives in Washington.

Of course, being President bored him terribly, since he wasn't allowed to hang any Darkies in Washington. That wasn't so bad, though, since he could just throw a few bombs at Saddam like his father did when he was bored. Mr. Bush did everything exactly like his father did, only not as well.

If Mr. Bush gets to keep his job, all this will give him plenty of practice for next time.

2. About the only thing that get you booted here is promoting Bush.
Beyond that, you'll find that while you might find yourself in the minority and feel ganged up on once in awhile (it happens to everyone from time to time), as long as you are state your case well and avoid personal attacks on people, you will be welcome.

And since I haven't said it before: Welcome to DU!

9. I agree the layout at Democratic Underground is
much better compared to Free Republic. For instance you can go back and edit any mistake about a fact or point you made and even a simple misspelling you can correct anytime.:dem: :kick: :bounce: Also we have these cool little characters which they don't have.

10. while I love DU, that isnt exactly true
I was booted off before because of the opinions I expressed about the rules that were instilled to protect those that believe in superstitions.

I still think this is the absolute best forum on the internet.

Fortunately, the rules seem to have been lessened to a certain extent. No longer are posts being deleted because of a 'bad' word or capitalization.

3. Lenin Called Such Conformity Democratic Centrism
Soviet dictator VI Lenin called such forced conformity of opinion "Democratic Centrism." I see that our little friends at "Free Republic" are enforcing a very similar policy, howbeit with a different name.

By their fruits shall ye know them...

As for Tom DeLay, IF we have free and fair elections this year, IF the Republic of the United States continues as a representative republic, I think that Tom DeLay's arrogance might finally prove his political undoing.

You admit in your post that it was a troll account. If you were a republican you might have a point.

11. And these are the same bitches who get pissed off that DU...
Isn't a debate site. What idiots. You can't even dislike someone in their politics without being labeled and kicked off. I don't like some of the dems, because come on, a lot of them let the republicans lead them around by the nose before the war. But that's not going to get me kicked off DU...I still hate Bush.
