Is it just me, or does anybody else smell this little subliminal crap going on (teehee it's just a joke) about Kerry and Edwards being gay?

First, we see the pictures of the touching.
Then we hear the hahas and comedians giggling.
Then we hear Bush on the radio speaking about the marriage amendment.
Then we see the interview where Leslie Stahl describes them as "married".

Is this a coordinated effort to get the MANLY vote for Bush?
What's going on here?

My hope is that this unbelievably filthy campaigning will backfire on them. It is hard to imagine any but the most completely brainwashed wingnuts not seeing this for what it is. Absolutely bizarre.

But then again, if dems can all be implied to be terrorist sympathizers, who knows?
